Form LLC or C-Corp
LLC is the 'Flex' choice—cheaper, fewer rules, taxes pass through to you. Best for small teams and bootstrapped startups. C-Corp is the 'Scale' choice—required for VC funding and stock options. Investors only invest in Delaware C-Corps. Wyoming offers low fees and privacy if you're not raising money.
A Minimum Viable Product (MVP) is the smallest version of your product that someone is willing to pay for. Most founders fail because they try to build 100 features at once.
- You can use the MoSCoW Method:
- Must-have: The one feature that solves the core problem (Build this).
- Should-have: Important, but can wait (Ignore for now).
- Could-have: "Nice to have" (Banned for now).
- Won't-have: Explicitly excluded to save time.
- If you can solve the problem using a simple Google Sheet or a manual email, do that first. It proves people want the result, regardless of how "pretty" the software looks.
